The emergence of new variants of Covid-19 which is spreading rapidly, has made the Indonesian government also boost vaccination in the capital city, DKI Jakarta, and its surroundings. Not only the Regional Government/Health Service, now the TNI-Polri network has been deployed. Starting from 18 years and over, and no longer just a DKI ID card.

The target: 1 million vaccinations per day.

The case in the United States shows that people who stubbornly wear masks, like us, have been completely vaccinated against them. As a result, the number of Covid-19 has dropped drastically, even (unfortunately) they are no longer wearing masks at the moment anymore. Washington D.C is said to have 85 percent of the population vaccinated.

Then, another example is Bali. 58 percent of the population has been vaccinated. As a result, these days Bali is relatively more protected.

Unfortunately, this is not the case with DKI and its surroundings. There are still many vaccinations service centers that are deserted. The root of the problem is the concern about the side effects of the AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccine, especially for young people. So, the stock of vaccines is rushing to Bali.

That there are side effects and fatal cases of vaccination, including AZ, we all know. There’s data. However, the proportion is very small. Data from the Financial Times shows, for the age group under 30 years, only 1.1 per 100 thousand recipients of the AZ vaccine experienced serious side effects.

Especially when compared to the magnitude of the risk of being exposed to Covid-19, whose variants are now developing and spreading rapidly. Vaccination is the best choice to fortify yourself and your family.

Other data also show that the AZ vaccine is the most widely used in the world. Already 177 countries are using it. This type of vaccine will also be the largest held by the government, apart from Sinovac.
