The Internet has been nominated to receive the Nobel Peace Prize this year, according to some reports, following a petition by the Italian version of Wired Magazine, which cited the Internet’s contributions to “dialogue, debate and consensus through communication”.

it would be interesting to see who will win the nobel peace prize for the internet. :-)
The Internet is neutral and can’t contribute anything to anything. There are as many people using the Internet to spout hate as there are engaging in any real dialog. But if it does win, I hereby agree to accept the award in its behalf.
