How was Indonesia’s startup world going in 2015? They are growing well and getting more investment, too.  According to the Asia tech site TechInAsia, private venture capital contributed significantly into the ecosystem, while government plan to start investing into startup “have failed to materialize this year”.

Looks like transportation app Go-jek and Tokopedia were this year’s rock-stars, while Lippo Group’s MatahariMall was one of the rising stars.

The impact of tech companies became tangible in the offline world. New and cheap delivery services offered by Go-Jek became the talk of the town.

Billboards and TV screens all over the country were dominated by the bold adverts of commerce companies like Tokopedia and MatahariMall.
