Trying out WordPress for Android’s in-app camera. I think it would help bloggers to post pictures from their mobile devices quickly. Good way to break the news.
Good job, WordPress! Thanks a bunch for this.

Microsoft announced last September that it would be shutting down its blogging platform, Windows Live Spaces and decided to move their existing blogs to WordPress.com. And it’s done now: Windows Live Spaces just doubled WordPress.com signups overnight!
Dharmesh Mehta of Windows Live reveals:
We thought it was worth taking a moment to highlight that, as of today, just over half a million Spaces blogs have now migrated to WordPress.com. On top of that, nearly half a million additional Windows Live customers have decided to create entirely new blogs on WordPress.com.
Congrats, WordPress!

Cell phones are becoming our new personal computers, always with us and always ready when something needs blogging about.
This is another huge landmark for blogging. For mobile blogging, to be more specific.
Congrats WordPress!

WordPress builds Posterous importer
Posted on February 10, 2010 by Budi Putra in Tech

At the end of the day, that’s all about contents, instead of platforms. So you can choose which blogging platform works for you. Blogspot, WordPress, Tumblr, Posterous — name it. Just blog, which is good for you. Trust me :-D
WordPress just announced that they have created a “Posterous Importer” for hosted customers. Similar to their other importer tools, this new one takes the content on a Posterous blog and imports it into a wordpress.com hosted blog. The Posterous importer can import posts, tags, comments, and image attachments.

Official WordPress app for Android?
Posted on January 3, 2010 by Budi Putra in Tech
So after creating apps for both the iPhone and Blackberry, WordPress looks like going to launch their app for Android platform. WordPress has created a special blog using subdomain Android.wordpress.org, which they have done something similar with the iPhone and Blackberry, and based on that fact my friend, could be a hint that there’s a future app coming upon Google’s mobile platform :)
I think Android as well as WordPress communities and bloggers will celebrate this upcoming feature. Despite there is no details in its launch date, but seems it will be launched in the near future.
