Star Wars: The Force Awakens, one of the most anticipated films of recent memory, a long-awaited return to the galaxy far far away, is just two months away and tickets for J.J. Abrams’ upcoming film are now on sale across the globe. The first big film adventure in 10 years, premieres on Dec. 18
Lucasfilm and Disney also revealed the new posters and trailers, marathon events and some movie theater exclusive collectibles –All Nippon Airways even launches its first Star Wars-themed plane!
[In the meantime, there is no further info or confirmation regarding the involvement of the star of acclaimed Indonesian action movie The Raid 2, Iko Uwais, and two of his co-stars in any way for this movie. The Hollywood Reporter reported a few months ago that Uwais, Yayan Ruhian and Cecep Arif Rahman were performing fight work in the movie.]
UPDATE 6 December 2015: Indonesian reporter Vivit Kavi, who just interviewed JJ Abrams, confirmed that Iko Uwais appears in this movie!

Written by J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan — the latter of whom co-wrote “The Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi” — “The Force Awakens” is Disney’s first entry in the movie franchise since purchasing the brand in 2012.
