Savander: Nokia is back!

Niklas Savander, Nokia Executive Vice President, Markets delivered first keynote at the Nokia World 2010 in London. He said he represented Stephen Elop, Nokia’s new CEO Stephen Elop.

Savander admitted that Nokia is facing tough competitions now against Google, Samsung and Apple, despite “People buy 260,000 Nokia smartphones every day.”

When it comes to smartphone, Symbian is still number one smartphone platform. Savander says Nokia keeps introducing new Symbian platforms. Nokia started with the powerfull N8.

Another Nokia’s strong feature is mobile navigations. “Nokia, not Google, is a leader of mobile navigations,” he said.

“Nokia is back!” said Savander concluded his keynote.
