PS3 now ahead of Xbox in Japan

Sony’s PlayStation 3’s doing better than the Xbox 360 is. While the Wii has taken a rather large lead, it seems the PlayStation 3 is now in second place. A year since its release, Microsoft’s console hasn’t fully taken off in Japan, selling less than 180,000 units in that time. The PS3, on the other hand, has apparently sold more than that in its first month, exceeding Xbox 360 sales by 10,000 units.
