R.I.P NEWSWEEK.COM. Following the merger of the Daily Beast and Newsweek last October, Newsweek.com will finally close at July 19 and will be just another category on TheDailyBeast.com. That means that the once-powerful weekly mag's online presence will be equivalent to the "politics," "business," and even "fashion" sections of TheDailyBeast.com. [via The Wrap]
