I was just interviewed by Adrian Simpson, a host of Round. The world. Connected., this afternoon at Wetiga cafe, Radio Dalam area, South Jakarta. He asked me about how does Jakarta become one of Asia’s blogging hubs as well as my activity as a full-time blogger.

Who is he? His blog tells us:

A seasoned traveler with a passion for technology, Adrian Simpson is your guide to the connected globe. His smart and accessible style made him a sought-after presenter on TV shows like BBC’s Top Gear and Discovery’s Adventure Travel Show. For Round. The world. Connected. he brings you regular reports on the latest developments in connectivity from every corner of the globe.

Sponsored by Nokia Siemens Network, Round. The world. Connected.’s journey takes him to seven regions of the  world. He has just explored Tokyo and Beijing prior his departure to Jakarta.

The first series of Round. The world. Connected. sets out to understand what connectivity means to different people and cultures across Europe, Asia and the Americas. Adrian discovers the future of TV entertainment in Belgium; how the mobile phone camera revolutionizes healthcare in Kenya; the way in which government processes are facilitated through internet access in Mexico; and the political influence of SMS and social networking sites during the Obama election campaign in the US. But that’s not all – in the second half of 2009 Adrian will continue to travel to the corners of the globe, to find out how connectivity is impacting people’s lives from Austria to Zimbabwe.

Thanks Adrian, for an interesting chat!
