Today 15 startups from India and Indonesia [as well as Brazil] are attending Google Developers Launchpad Accelerator, a two-week training program at Google HQ in Silicon Valley. This program gives US$50,000 equity-free seed funding for the chosen startups.
This is really a good opportunity for them, since they will work closely with Google mentors and executives.
For the first batch under this program, Google chose startups from India, Indonesia, and Brazil which address challenges in their home regions and are ready to scale.
That’s very interesting list of startups though, despite the fact that there are a few startups that have raised millions also being picked up for this program. Check-out the complete first batch list here.
